CASC ONTARIO REGION is Ontario's governing body of automobile sport, and is comprised of over 30 automobile and sport enthusiast clubs within Ontario.

The organization defines and administers the province's regional championships in several disciplines, with club-organized events in Road Racing, Ice Racing, SoloSprint time trials, Lapping, AutoSlaloms and Road Rallies.

In addition, the majority of timers, corner marshals and safety personnel at events such as the Grand Prix of Toronto are members of our clubs.

Saab Club of Canada – 2009 Enhanced Driving Schools

The Saab Club of Canada operates enhanced driving schools which are open to drivers who want to improve their driving skills, knowledge, and vehicular control. Our one day school provides classroom and personal on-track coaching in a safe, controlled environment using your own car. Come to one or both schools and have a fantastic time at Shannonville’s exciting full track & Skid-pad.

Venue: Shannonville Motorsports Park, Belleville
Dates: Friday May 8th and Friday October 2nd
Cost: $265 (same as last year!)

CASC Ontario Region Extends AND Expands Corporate Sponsorship Agreement With Mobil 1

CASC Ontario Region is pleased to announce the continuation of its corporate sponsorship agreement with Mobil 1 for the 2008 season.

New for 2008, Mobil 1 has increased their support of motorsport in Ontario by becoming the title sponsor of the RaceOntario GT Sprints and Formula Libre Provincial Championship series.

Mobil 1 will continue their support of the Autoslalom and Solosprint divisions, returning as the title sponsor of the two Provincial Championship series,

New CASC-OR Administrator
02/18/08

On February 18, 2008, Debbie Johnston became the new Administrator for CASC-OR.

Debbie comes to us from the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital where she worked as Executive Assistant to the CEO and as a Project Coordinator for the Senior Administrative Team. Prior to that, she has worked in the publishing industry and the financial services field.

Debbie is a member of both MMS and OMSC, and has also acted as an instructor at the Ian Law Car Control School.

We welcome (belatedly!) Debbie to the CASC-OR team and we look forward to continuous improvement in the service levels at the CASC Ontario Region offices.
