My Solo racer from the beginning of the 2000 season has been restored to street trim:

1997 BMW 328i 97500 km
Silver with Black leather interior
4-doors with Sport Package, CD Player, Remote Entry, Ski Bag
Includes Hartge rear wing & a good set of snow tires and rims
The car has been lovingly maintained by a non-smoker, never crashed, and is as tight as the day I drove it off the dealer lot.
The engine is strong: a recent dyno test in its current configuration showed 175 rwhp, which translates to 200-205 flywheel hp (13-15% drivetrain loss). BMW's official flywheel hp number for this car is 190.

$30000 OBO

Hmmmm, I am on the market for a stout tow vehicle :p Does this german automobile come with a trailer hitch?

I'll sell you my truck. I'm looking for a 4WD version because I have a very steep driveway and my tow vehicle has to be a daily driver.

Sorry Chris, but 200hp + 150tq won't pull a 2000 pound trailer and 3000 pound car, nor is it legal to do it, so I don't think I'm out of line, not trying to step on feet!

I got hitched Aug 12, and it caused me to miss the Blainville events!

No, the Silver car doesn't have a trailer hitch. Who would desecrate a fine German automobile in that way?

joking of course. I would NEVER dream of treating a fine piece of german engineering so cruelly. That's what we've got push rod american iron for! Steve, somehow I think you're bigass GMC is a long way out of my price range :) I'm looking at old Landcruisers and Cherokees...you know, trucks with a face only a mother could love. Ah well, the budget may not allow for a tow vehicle this summer anyway, we'll see.

Best of luck selling the Bimmer, Chris. I was fortunate enough to sell the Lude last friday, so there's hope for us all!

A friend of mine is selling a Cherokee. 1993, quite nice, 4 litre with automatic tranny. It should make a decent tow vehicle for lighter loads. May even be talked into an interesting trade.
