Found this in my inbox this morning, presumably it has made its way down the grapevine from Wes.....
…It has been decided that there will likely be six events with no more
than two double header weekends for events and at least three events
shall be in the extended Greater Toronto Area. At least one event will
be reserved for Eastern Ontario and another for Western Ontario to
ensure the schedule is truly Provincial.
As mentioned in a previous e-mail I would like to avoid "race tracks"
unless there is ample run off room to ensure cars do not leave the solid
surfaces, under normal conditions. Also the following dates should be
avoided, if at all possible:
May 12 - 13
May 26 - 27
June 9 - 10
June 23 -24
August 18 - 19
September 1-2-3
September 22 - 23
September 29 - 30
October 7-8
Also the date for Application submission has been extended to December
29th, 2006, so please research your dates, talk to some other clubs that
may be interested in co-hosting a double header weekend (or single event
for that matter) and please get back to me as soon as possible.
If you know of any other clubs interested in submitting an application,
please pass this on and let me know who the contact is so I can update
my records.
Not sure what's going on for the Sept 29/30 weekend...the rest of the dates listed are solo1 (tentative) and the solo2 nationals.
