Does anyone know of a link to some user-friendly navigator instructions for the Terratrip? The wiring's all good, but I've misplaced the little booklet. :o
I have a new navigator starting with me for the January Jaunt who needs the quick and dirty instructions for calibrating the odo, and all the other operational stuff.
Thanks in advance.

not sure where you are, but I still have my little booklet.
I'm in Woodstock if you want to borrow it.
Cheers

Thanks Gord. The first five stages of the January Jaunt were more of a learning experience. Both of us were trying to figure resets out.
I've recovered my little booklet, but it's not as useful as I thought. I have the 303+ with Remote Zeroing Unit... and it seems that I'll have to write my OWN instructions for it. It's a weird little puppy.
Top CLR button once on RZU: Clear interval ODO
Bottom CLR button twice on RZU: Clear CAS (BUT NOT ALWAYS! Depends on what screen the Navie is using on the main unit at the time. If Navie's on the wrong screen the RZU just does nothing.)
That's what was so frustrating with this... I thought I should be able to clear CAS from the RZU, but it wasn't working consistently. Then it did ONCE! Then it wouldn't again.
Anyway, once I get some more experience with it perhaps I can write some simpler USER instructions.
Currently I'm having the problem that most people mention with the 303+... sometimes it picks up distance, sometimes it loses it with no apparent reason. Some of the inaccuracy was due to wheelspin, but there were others I couldn't account for. I played with the tranny speed DSI adjustment a little, but I'll need another rally to see if it really improved the issue or not.
