Welcome to the 2007 "Not the Ontario Winter Rally", presented by Noodle Delight restaurants (http://www.noodledelight.com) and the Maple Leaf Rally Club. Held on the afternoon and early evening of February 17, 2007 this roughly 300km event will start and finish in Lindsay and feature a rest stop in Minden.

As a departure from previous MLRC winter rallies this event will feature an easy Navex style of routebook, but will once again showcase some of the great roads we have here in Ontario. Those familiar with past Ontario Winter or Snowy Safari rallies may be familiar with such names as Salmon Lake or Davis Lake. Drivers, you will enjoy this rally!

Registration will open at 12:30pm on February 17th, Car 0 will start at 2pm and finish about 8:30pm. More information on the event, supplemental regulations and online entry will be available soon on the event's website, http://www.mlrc.ca/nowr/ . Please check back often as we update the site over the coming days.

Just remember, it's "Not the Ontario Winter Rally"!

Good evening,

That's right everyone, in addition to teasing potential competitors to come out and play at the rally this year, it's also time to start asking those who don't plan to compete to volunteer to help make the rally happen. Without volunteers, the rally simply cannot take place.

Whether you're an old hand or brand new to rallying, volunteering at a rally is an excellent way to get involved and experience a rally from behind the scenes. Experience level does not matter, we will train you for the job. And just think, this year we're not asking you to sit out in the cold all night!

The rally takes place on Saturday, February 17th in Lindsay, with a worker's meeting at 1pm, and finishing approximately 8:30pm.

If you're interested in helping put on a great rally, please contact me by email at nowr@mlrc.ca. For more information about the rally, please visit the website, http://www.mlrc.ca/nowr/

Thank you!

Good evening everyone,

That's right, the second round of the Ontario Road Rally Cup, the Not the Ontario Winter Rally presented by Noodle Delight Restaurants and the Maple Leaf Rally Club is fast approaching, with only a few days remaining until the rally runs this coming Saturday, February 17th in Lindsay, Ontario. Registration opens at 12:30 and the rally starts at 2pm.

This past weekend the route was greencrewed by the Moores and some minor updates are being implemented as we speak. They reported that the roads are in great condition and all is looking well for a great rally.

For those who have not yet entered but are planning to, we would ask that you please take a few minutes to fill out the online entry form at http://www.mlrc.ca/nowr so that we may plan accordingly. Having a good estimate of the number of competitors coming makes our lives much easier. If you don't have the time to fill out the form, please take a second to email me at nowr@mlrc.ca so that we know you're coming.

Also, if you can't compete but are interested in helping out at the event, we can always use more volunteers. Please contact me off list at nowr@mlrc.ca if you're interested. Those workers who are signed up already, an update is coming shortly.
