I would like to thank all of those who participated in the Solo I Community for the great framed print of the competing Solo I cars. I really appreciated all the kind comments hand written on the face. It was a quite unexpected gift and will always be a valuable keepsake and reminder of all the fun I had as your Solo I Director for the past three years.

The car has been stripped to nothing. Every bolt, every piece of wiring has been removed.

It was then dipped in acid - so all that lovely yellow paint is now gone. It's currently at Ronnie O'brien's being seam welded and caged.

Still waiting on various suppliers for the engine rebuild, brakes, and suspension bits. Then the big re-build begins. Perry, Robb and I have our work cut out for us.

That said - if all goes well - it should be ready for early season testing in the spring.
