Hybrid trans with 4.4 FD and ZC gearset and LSD
light flywheel
Exedy Stage 1 clutch
13x7" or 8" wheels that will stick out past my fenders running R's
1 piece FG seat
header
2 1/4" exhaust

full interior
short shifter
Grant steering wheel with 2" spacer
stock brakes with HP+ pads
Koni Yellows with GC coilovers 400/lb f, 450/lb r

This is how my car sits and I figure CSP, correct?
Any suggestions on how to better use Pip's for this setup?
Any suggestions positive or otherwise are appreciated.

The trans is a Honda trans, but it's a JDM SSO with a ZC gearset installed. I can't see why that would put me in MOD?

In SP - you can only update from a previous model from the same stock class I thought... and then - only in whole... no mixing / matching of parts.
thi si s because in Auto-x, you can gear the hell out of a sedate motor and make it a real performer...
Someone closer to the issue like Pete might be better to ask... there aren't thqat many SP people looking at swapping motors, trans and diffs AFAIK... but I may be wrong.

the rulebook wording is VERY clear.
And it refers to cdn cars...

Thanks Jeff, I'll ask Pete. I really didn't think it would be an issue, but if so I'll have to look into that.

Bear in mind that the rule book says that the transmission can be modified. It was the opinion of the director that this meant the case had to be original. However we have a new director now, so ask for a clarification again.

The cases are identical AFAIK, and I guess if I had to I could put all the guts from the JDM trans into the stock trans. Not too keen on that but if it keeps me in SP, I'll do it.
I've sent Pete an email, hopefully he can claify this.

I ran my JDM VTi trans in SP the last couple of years, essentially it was just a gearing change (which automatically put me in SP) Wes was running the same one but for him the gearing was the same as stock (his is a Si) so it was just adding a LSD.

C. The transmission, differential, and transaxle may be modified or substituted, provided
that neither the original suspension configuration, nor drive layout is changed.
Modifications include any or all mechanical or hydraulic components relating to the
transfer, application and distribution of power flow from the input shaft of the
transmission up to and including the drive axle(s).
I'd say that means that you can modify it!
Custom gearset if you want!
F. The updating and/or backdating of engines, transmissions or transaxles must be done as a
unit; component parts of these units may not be interchanged. If modifications are made,
they must conform to the modification allowances in Street Prepared category.
This is the update / backdate thing I was speaking of...

Actually, the rule book, Section 10.8.C states that the "... transaxle may be modified or substituted, providing..."
I cannot find the definition, but the rulebook used to have a definition of the word "modification", basically saying that modification meant modification or substitution.
