Snowmobile rentals?

I have a friend asking about where she and her family may rent snowmobiles over the March break.

There would be 4 of them and I imagine Minden would be about the boundary for them to travel.

Any thoughts, contacts?

Hi, there are a couple of sites to try. The OFSC site is not complete for listings yet so....

There are a few resorts in the Minden area that rent machines(probably as part of a week-end package). It is worth a try though. If the resorts cannot help you, they might steer you in the right direction. You might also check with marine/snowmobile dealers in the area. They can be very helpful. These sites were just searched for, I have never used them personally.

We just got back from Deerhurst in Huntsville. They have a fleet of snowmobiles for rent to resort guests. (new or nearly new yamahas as I recall)

They offer guided tours as well as straight rentals. Lots of trails in that area and deerhurst is a nice spot to use as a base, good food, pools and other activities too. I imagine for March break you'd want to book the sleds ahead of time
