could someone please explain to me how TAC works?

i was just visiting the TAC website and stumbled upon the 2002 schedule.

my question is this, how does TAC determine where they will place events? Unlike most clubs, they are not at a fixed location? or am I just misunderstanding the schedule?

You're right, TAC does not have a regular lot for its Solo 2 series.
This is why we have not always had a consistent schedule. We are actively searching for a lot in Metro Toronto.
Know of any good lots we can use???

here in woodbridge, there's a rona with a very big parking lot. its rarely even 10% full. (with the exception of at night, when alot of teens hang out because of the tim hortons, movie theatres,etc.)

theres also a VERY big parking lot at our local comunnity centre. its located on rutherford rd & islington ave. it must be at least 160 x 250ft. and thats the back. they have even more parking at the front. they might be interested in renting it out to auto-x'ers.

Andrew, can you give me names, addresses or contact numbers for the 2 lots you mentioned? I'll pass them on to the Comp. Director at TAC.

i can pass by both locations sometime this week, and ill ask them for information. woodbridge is a decent spot because its in the middle of GTA. Between Scarborough/Markham to the end of Mississauga/Brampton, will allow for a good size of members. Plus you could easily run 2 cars at once there. No islands at the community centre, just a few light poles. Curbs are only on the outside, boxing the lot.

as far as i know it isnt busy. even if it was, they probably have enough parking in the front for at LEAST 100 cars.

i think ill pass by there tomorrow morning since i have no more school now, ive got time during work break.

did TAC follow the exact same schedule as the CASC 2002 Series? they look identical :) How does TAC work?

That was the 2002 regional series, as far as I know TAC only put on a couple of their own events last year.
