Thanks to Serge Guschin, TAC's new Competition Director, the new Solo Ontario website will be unveiled some time today. We may encounter a few glitches along the way, but I think you will all agree that Serge has created a website that all of us can be truly proud of.

If you notice a problem or can't find something let us know and we will correct the problem. Over the next while we will be making our own changes to continually update the site. (ie. more info re the SoloSprint schools and the Nationals coming up in October, reminders of upcoming events, more pics of your vehicles, the creation of a possible Hall of Fame for award winners, etc.))

Thanks Serge for all the hard work and countless hours that you have devoted to this project.

Hey Serge, I found an error...

I saw a Mustang on the banner of the home page... you have to fix this soon Serge. :D :p

Now, now, remember that we are trying to sell the sport! Actually, the cars that appear will change automatically as we develop the site further over the weeks to come. Our goal here is to advertise all the cars involved in SoloSprint.

currently each page selects randomly from 3 images whenever reloded, out of a library of 17 images..

just keep clicking refresh.. :)

Reading the intro page:

SoloSprint is an entry level, low cost, grassroots motorsport organization in Ontario.

Note: Solosprint is not an organization, it's an activity or a type of competition.. No ya???

Should say: Solosprint is an entry level forey into grassroots motorsports.

this is true actualy, ive never thought about it.

but dont we have to give it some sort of "form" regarless, we cant just turn it into a verb?

personaly i'm not even too hot on the term "grassroots", maybe its because i'm a foreigner but to me personaly that word means about as much as flamoriken :)

if we can put together a really straight forward laymen description of what it is that we do here that everyone can agree on, i'm all ears.

well if you're looking for it to be some kind of form, rather than a verb, and you don't want to use grassroots (which is not a term that is known to people who don't race, really) then use "is an entry level form of motorsports"...

Maybe set up another page for people coming in from ovals that says "We dun race us cars left and right both, ya'll"... just to expand the readership.

Great update to the website... gives a great "back in business" feel (the outdated stuff didn't do much to encourage newb's)

Good Job!
