Attention all Solo competitors!

SoloOntario is organizing a booth at the Performance World Car show March 7-9 at the International Centre.

Check out their website at www.performanceworldcarshow.com
We will be booth #377 in Hall 3.

This booth will promote all CASC-OR activities and be staffed by volunteers, so please consider donating some of your time!

Our reason for attending the show is to promote our sport and to attract new competitors. Growing the sport will benefit us all, since it will allow us to attract more sponsors, help keep per competitor costs down, and increase competition thereby making the series' that much more fun for all of us.

Thanks already to Chuck Atkins for offering the use of his immaculate Mustang GT as the show car. This car has been a familiar sight at our Solo events for the past few years and will be a terrific ambassador for our sport.

We need volunteers to man the booth in either the morning or afternoon of Friday, Saturday and Sunday and for setting up the booth on Thursday night and packing it up on Sunday evening.

If you're willing and able to help, please e-mail me at solo1dir@casc.on.ca and let me know what day/time you can make it.

Thank you!

Christian Sorensen

My thanks to the following who have offered their help for 'whenever':
Alec Chalvardjian
Myron Samila
Pat Harrison
Robb Smith

Specifically, we'd like at least two people to be staffing the booth for the show's duration, so we need the Friday and Saturday slots to be filled! More help with the teardown will also be appreciated...

Please email me at solo1dir@casc.on.ca or reply with your time slot preference real soon! Tomorrow I will slot Alec, Myron, Pat and Robb in.

Passes for exhibitor volunteers will be located at the 'WILL CALL TABLE' in the Front Lobby, open at 9:00AM each day

I am also receptive to ideas for creative (& cheap) booth layouts...

Thanks,

Christian Sorensen

I'm not sure I want to see Chris Sorensen in a black skirt.... :p

At least not Christian Sorensen anyway....

Does Nick (or Christina for that matter) know about this?

Hey whassamatter?

When you go to these shows, you've gotta have a skirt at the booth....

This one is quite stylish, even if it is full length.

Dave, Friday between 6 - 10 there were Alec, Ryan, Pat and myself around.

We were in the back corner of the second room in. Back beside the guy with the blairing videos with burnouts and more burnouts and, yes.....burnouts! Did I mention his burnout videos were blaring (I should have brought earplugs, my ears are still ringing).

It took me ten minutes to find it when I first got there.

Much better show than Riceorama, oops, I mean Speedorama. Better cars, better vendors, better people!.

There was also a lot more serious interest in Solo from the people. At Speedorama, the only thing the people were interested in was "What mods are done to the Type R?"

Also, the booth looks a LOT better at Performance World than it did at Riceorama, more appealing, more inviting.

Hmmph, I was there all day, how do you think I feel, you missed the crowd of kiddies who blanketed the area to watch the burnout videos.

But Chris' car did have 'NOS'...lol
