Hello everyone my name is Matt and i'm new to your website.

I've noticed alot of question so i thought i would ask one or two myself.
I occassionally race solo 2 events and try and make it to open track events.
I own a 91 honda civic its fairly equipped for a daily driver i have addco sway bars front and back, bilstein shocks and eibach sportline springs. 4 point cage and polyeurathane bushings through out the entire car. I have an upgraded exhaust intake and a b16a motor, 92 integra brakes front and back.
Just to name a few things.
My first question to you guys is what class would that put my car in for a solo 1 event and would my car get raped on the track because of the class i'm in?
The solo2 events i go to don't have a class rating so its just bracketed by times. Easy as pie i know.

I will repost my second question its just to much info.
thanks alot for any responses.
Matt

Sorry I can't offer you any advice on preparing your car but I expect you'll get some responses from the HADA guys.

With the new classification system this year I don't think anyone can say for sure, but Civics always seem to be a popular choice and a very competitive car; having said that, a lot of it is up to the driver...

Finally, even if you're not in a competitive car you can have a lot of fun getting the best of what you have, and meeting some felow enthusiasts!

Squeeky, your car should be quite competitive in Solo 1. We're classifying hybrids like yours in a new way this year. A 88-91 Civic with a B16a engine is a Level 5 or 'Sports 3' car, where you'd run against stock Subaru WRX's, RSX Type S', Celica GT-S' to name a few, plus there would be modified cars that have "stepped up" to this class from their 'Starting Class' where they'd run if their car was stock. There is a thread on this message board about the new 'linear classification system'. Have a look at the thread and download the two associated files to get a preliminary look at how the rules may look this year.
