suspension? for honda?

Hello gentleman and any ladies? I would really appreciate any help in this matter. I'm running out of time.

I have a 91 civic thats suspension is worn I have bilstein shocks and eibach sportline springs. The unfortunate part of this story is that my crappy eibach sportline springs were to low for my bilsteins shocks therefore destroying my bump stops then wrecking the shocks.
My car is a daily driver and I hated the ride on the street but thats what you get when riding on bump stops, so i invested in a new suspension i bought an eibach pro kit spring and kyb gr-2 shocks.
My question to you is should I exchange for a different shock. I occassionally race solo2 events and want to try solo1 this year? Does anyone know a place that rebuilds bilsteins shocks?
I only paid $85 a shock plus tax for the kyb gr-2 so there is no real comparison to the bilsteins at $220 plus tax a shock.
I'm basicly looking for the best bang for the buck.
the suspension is still in the box's so its not to late.
my car rides like a tank now and i'm fine with that just want looking for a little more performance.

I would suggest short body struts if at all possible,with the ride you mention the stock bump stops must be in place unmodified?
Wheel travel is one of the most important items to correct to ensure a safe and predictable handling car.Cornering on bumpstops isn't so good(something I'm dealing with on my car right now)as encountering a bump mid corner will REALLY upset the car(and the driver if you crash into something hard going backwards!).
I think both Neuspeed and Bilstein offer short body struts.Also check shox.com,truechoice.com,jic-magic.com(thick wallet needed)ground-control.com,koni.com,morissdampers.com(really thick wallet!)hrsprings.com,these are just a few that come to mind.
