just joined and want to say hello. i come from a motorcycle racing back ground but now i'm getting up in years i'm hopeing this will be easer on my body. looking forward in getting to as many solo1 events as i can. see you on the track

welcome Steve! So do you drive an Omni GLH or do you just like the nickname? Tell us a bit about your car and maybe we can all pitch in and make it go faster :)
yes i have 2 omni glh's 1 is a 86 glht that is all stock with some dc out grades the other is a 85 glht that is being set up with a turbo3 out of a 91 sprit rt striped down should be about 1800 lbs and about 360 hp at 18 lbs of boost i hope to have it out by may or june i have some out neet vechiles on my web site

holy smokes! An 1800 lbs 360hp Omni GLH?!? Too cool. Man, all that power is going to bend that 17 year old chassis like a toothpick ;) I hope you have a rollcage in that beast and I look forward to seeing it out for some Solo 1 action this year.

Only 360 hp? Oh my God, I can't imagine that much hp in a car that light. Did a quick plug into classification spreadsheet using the weight and hp provided and the same suspension rating as a base Omni and that thing will be up there in Sports1 class as a minimum since I have no idea what the mods are. That's crazy!
Can't wait to see it.

yah dave it has a 6 point roll cage welled in sparco racing seat
5 point racing harness and it's a texas body so no rust .
