Request for help - May 12/13

Hi All,

As everyone is aware, CASC is holding a 2 day event for the Milton Safe Streets Campaign. This campaign is to help educate the general public on the "Safe Alternative" to street racing. This happens to be part 2 of the campaign, which started last year, with big thanks to Wes Tanney, John Bondar and CASC.

Milton is raising funds to help purchase the "Rollover Simulator" for the township. CASC has agreed to help in this endeavour by providing a 2 day event, and this is where the volunteers are needed.

Location: Mohawk Raceway/Casino Parking Lot in Milton (Guelph Line and 401)

Day 1: Exhibition Event, designed to attract crowds, to create an atmosphere of friendly competition, and to introduce new competitors to our sport.

Day 2: Event Number 1, CASC-OR Provincial Autoslalom Championship

Important:
This is an opportunity for all CASC Clubs to shine, and to show the community that we can help curb street racing by giving people "The Place to Race".

We need help from all CASC clubs to provide at least 2 volunteers for the weekend, then the tasks can be divided. Your clubs will be mentioned prominently as a CASC affiliated club during the event and in all publications.

HADA - TLMC - WOSCA -MSOC - SPDA - TAC - STLAC - MSOC - OMSC - Ontario Z - PMSC - F-Body - etc. etc. etc.

Let's use this event to show what we're really made of. Let's help Milton acquire their goals, and reap the benefits by increasing the awareness of the alternative to street racing.

Ther is no host club for either day, that's why volunteers are required. Both days go towards the Anti Street Racing campaign, and there will be visiting dignitaries both days.
