Hey Guys,
Time to sign up for another autocross season. The open house is this Saturday at JRE Inc. in Mississauga. Information and directions are at www.hadamotorsport.com/solo2.
Registering pre-season makes you available to win prizes at the events and shorter registration times since all your info is on the computer already.
Hope to see you guys out!

Powerade has increased the lot size. Expect larger and quicker courses this year!

I should hope so! I don't know how those f-bodies plan on running events there. Even Hershey was a stretch for those boats!

I've always liked the courses there... but then again, I do drive a Civic!

Hrm.. wouldn't larger equate to longer course runs? Or did I misinterpret this and it should be larger and/or quicker courses?
I know I'd like longer runtimes.. At least, I think I would?

Unable to make the Open House to sign up. Assume I could mail it in or series register at the first event?

Well, depends on how you get that extra time. There's an Anti-Lock-to-Lock movement on in the GTA.
Everyone start chanting at Hanif: "Third Gear! Third Gear! Third Gear!" :D

Ain't no third gear stuff safely happening at Brampton, but having seen the changes to the lot I'm sure there are plenty of options for Hanif to make things exciting this summer. And I'm sure they'll suit my car nicely... ;)

There is a problem, however..
The faster you make the course... the less time it takes to complete...
therefore... the Mike Birch approach to longer runtimes is only to drive at like 85%. If it's a 3rd gear section... then just leave it in 2nd and only stay at like part-throttle... VOILLA... watch your run times increase!
:D

I think further into and staying in 2nd will be easier in the back section for sure. I still need to pace out the lot to make the first course - but i suspect it will be a simple course to ease people back into the year.

All makes and models are welcome so long as they meet the minimum requirements of the region (aka no tall vehicles, or kit cars that don't meet the minimum safety requirements).

Subies are getting a little too competitive if you ask me. ;)
