Nice, someone hit and run you and the cops weren't helpful.......
The best part is the kid in the Magnum passenger seat learned that you can run into someone else's car and drive away without repercussions!
That's too bad Adrian, at least his bumper paint is fubared as well...... (not that it helps you at all....)

I find it really disturbing when they supposedly have a blitz going on
http://www.peelpolice.ca/News/Media%20Archive.aspx?MainContent=1055
and they can't be bothered to help with a hit 'n run.
What a joke.

That was a hit & run? I saw the Dodge leaving slowly and I figured that you guys had mutually decided that there was no significant damage, otherwise I would have snapped his picture.

Hey Travis,
Is your RSX stock? If so, you will be moved to class 4 instead of 3. I believe I made a mistake at registation. Let me know,

I told the guy to hold on for a moment while i turn the car around and check over the bumper cover! At first look it looked fine but after dirt and crap was taken off I found damage to it on due to impact. Worst thing is that i just had it painted about three weeks ago.
And to add guy was being a total a-hole, about blaming me for stopping and making him late. I moved forward and by the time I turned around he was gone. But thanks to quick thinking of few members we found him on the other side. THANKS AGAIN! Miles, Wes and Hanif and few others I can;t rember the name.
Cop took 1.5hrs to get there. The perp was still @ center playing hockey. Cop went around to find him and did. Made us exchange info and tell as that its 50-50 fault because of the parking lot and simply dismissed the leaving the scene charge as it is private property. After the cop left, guy just said FU and went back to his hockey game.

That's the law...
Go to your ins. co. and you BOTH get at-faults.
That's the danger with private property / parking lots.

I think your only option is small claims. its a civil matter due to private property .

Adrian, that sux.
And as far as automatically 50-50, that's incorrect. Insurance companies have a very strict set of guidelines to assess blame. It is not automatically 50-50 due to being on private property.

maybe so... but if the other guy doesn't admit he did it... and you are pointing the finger at eachother... 50/50 on private property more than likely. Then... both get an at-fault.

Thanks for the great pics, and this capture of another shining moment for me :D

Lessons Learned:
The Good: Hawk HP+ pads + SuperBlue = Much improved braking!
The Bad: Street tires (Azenis), while better than nothing, just aren't that much fun anymore.
The Ugly: Coning badly on 3 runs when there was only 5 runs total.

I appreciate the positive comments on the pictures. Remember, wiper blades are not deducted from your time. I also concur on the Hawk HP+ pads. :)

You're half-out of the car!
No wonder Ryan was relatively quick - he had ballast to keep weight over the inside tire contact patch!
Aren't active damper ballast systems prohibited in F1... yet they are OK in Solo 2???
