Hi Folks,

I've been looking for a place to try out my driving skills as well as my mechanical skills for a while. I just stumbled upon Solo II and it looks perfect.

A couple of questions....

I'd like to run my slightly modified 1980 Triumph Spitfire 1500. I've read the 2002 Regs and didn't find a classification for my car.
What I'm trying to figure out is what cars I'd typically be running against.

Right now most of the engine is in part's in my basement but by spring I will have done the following:

Engine
.040 overbore
High compression pistons
Fast road cam

Intake/Exhaust
Replace single ZS150 with Dual SU carbs & K&Ns
New Intake Manifold
New Exhaust Header (4-1)
Free Flow Exhaust (Supertrapps)

Suspension
Poly Bushes
Shortened & Uprated Front Springs
Koni Shock on all 4 corners

Can anyone tell me what class my car would run in?

Is this really as much fun as it looks? When's the next Meeting so I can get involved?

I would put you in A4 stock, but it appears that what ever class you start in you will have enough points that your in ASP. Tough class, unless you want to do more to the car. But you don't need to be in a competitive class to have fun. Besides nobody wins events their first year. When you start out you simply pick a few cars that are close to you and mentally compete with them.

As for fun, I sure think it is!
