Corvette history

Hi,

Does anybody have any information or picture of a mid year Corvette (1963-1967) that raced in GT1 in the late 70's and early 80's?

The car is a roadster and was painted black with race number 8 sporting flared fenders and a cut-down windshield running an L88 big block.

Any leads, info and pictures would be appreciated.

Are you sure it was a corvette or was it the Mark V Dailu. I ran a black small block corvette bodied tube framed, jaguar suspension that looked like a vette. I bought it from Bill Adam. The year I ran it it had number 257. It was built in quebec by Greenblatt. There is quite a history behind the Dailu story. I have pictures as well. Email me at Paulds@rogers.com
