Anyone catch the G70 race, nothing on Mylaps yet, who won? Judging from the pics there were some real quick cars, looks like it was a great weekend.

:) well it was a dominating weekend for Blaise Csida in the Strudwick motorsports corvette, all races won, Peter Klutt had nothing for them, the races were a walk in the park for the vette, sundays first race saw the vette with a 35 second lead after 17 minutes, the afternoon race Blaise took it easy on them with only a 15 second lead, sorry you couldn`t make it out, you missed a great show for the whole weekend.:)

Peter actually didn't show up on sunday. Farano had problems with his car so he ran Peter's car. A very good race to see.

Thanks Jon, Mylaps is up now, looks like you had a great 1st weekend out with Godzilla. Nice to see you took the wing off and put it to period specs, what happened to Rob with his Vette?

There's no catching Blaise, congrats to Phil Strudwick Motorsports, maybe we'll see if we can get Bill Adam back into the Big Cat and give Blaise a run next year lol.

Blaises car is only around 540. But put him in just about anything and he's tough to catch

I heard secondhand that Peter's 'Vettes walked six carlengths from Blaise on the start, that it took BC about six laps to get past them both, and that his advantage was largely in traffic...

I have no doubt Blaise could drive the wheels off anything, and Strudwick Motorsports sure has Frankie dialed in at Mosport. I just wish I had more of a chance to follow him around and learn last year.

Either way it doesnt really matter as I'll never be able to pedal around at those times, I'm happy to be within a second of Bob's fastest times considering how original the car still is. And looking forward to getting more seat time in the Big Cat

Wow , it's like broken telephone from when I was a kid lol. Nah, first race it took Blaise about 3 laps to get in front then went on to win by 53 seconds.

Doesn't the Strudwick Corvette have like 840HP? Thats what I heard...

How much HP does the BIG CAT have?

Hey Rocco,

You sure have that TR7/8 flying and it looks great! What kind of HP do you have now?
The Big Cat comes in at 597 hp on the Dyno, TQ is up there as well, gotta love a V12 :D Tullius was running it at 540 hp back in the 1981 Trans Am Season.

You'll have to ask Phil for the exact number ;)

400HP 400TQ at the rear wheels.

Good for a 1min28.00 so far this year at Mosport, on two new slicks in the rear and year old slicks in the front..

Thanks for the comments Steve!!
