WOSCA is once again holding it's annual Waterford Hills Lapping Day on the Victoria Day holiday Monday. Due to an increase in the track rental this could very well be the last time we hold a lapping event at Waterford so come try it out while you still can!
Detail are here:

Oh man, I've never been to Waterford Hills but keep hearing great things about it and WOSCA's events there. Sure hope this isn't the last one.
I'd love to come if only it were later on in the year.

This is perfect, I'l probably be visiting family that weekend so I'll just cut it off a day early and attened this event. I always look forward to trying new tracks.
Do we have to do anything at the border? I'll probbaly be bringing some stuff over, nothing major, just rotors, pads tools etc. Do we have to claim these at the border?

It's advisable to claim anything that you might get hasselled with coming back before you leave (i.e. stop at Canadian Customs before entering the US). Every year I get some degree of hassle over my tires. They always believe me during the search, but the drive through attendants never believe I've been to the track (especially females). Never the less it's never a big delay, just: stop explain the attendant, pull into customs show them the tires and explain again, leave...

Marshall,
What's the chance of not getting on the track if I just show and pay. I don't want to pay in advance incase I don't get across the border due to the SARS scare and that fact I am from Toronto.
On second note what is Waterford Hills like? Like Shannonville and Cayuga or a small version of Mosport. Is it hard on brakes?

Imagine Fabi, with less straight (slight slower average speed) and elevation changes. There is an in car video of me from last year. It's about as hard on brakes as Fabi is (I find), maybe a little harder. I run similar lap time at both tracks (1:23~ish)

We've never turned people away in the 5 years I've gone, so I can almost garauntee you will be able to run. We rarely get people paying in advance BTW. Usually the only people that do it are Americans that are used to lapping days selling out very quickly.
