VARAC G70 Good Time!

On behalf of myself and my crew we would like to formally thank VARAC and the G70 Competitors for a great weekend at the BARC event. After not driving for 4 years and recuperating by building a car, then getting a chance to run it with some clean racers, then driving the car home (hey, who drives their Porsche 930 to the race track and then drives it home these days, says something about the racing...and the people in the G70 program). We made 2 of 3 races, a tire rub issue forced us out of the rain that I was looking forward to running in.

We did not go blazingly fast as the driver was rusty, the car was new, and the driver has never driven a rear engined Porsche before on a track (it truly is a "dark side" experience...I now have a lot of respect for people that can drive these cars fast)...but the racing was safe, fun, and clean. You guys and girls put on a good show, thank you for the warm welcome and we will be back after I finish my "re-education" overseas.

I have heard nothing but good stuff about VARAC and the G70 class! After talking to Jon Brett we have decided to run our RX-7 in G70 for the remainder of the season (if we can get it not to break when we go testing lol).

Great shots as usual Vic - glad you were able to get some of my car before we broke.
It looks like we will have a larger field for you to shoot - that RX7 should photograph well - welcome to G70, the group seems to be migrating to the lower paddock and hope to see you on the 1-2 Sept.
