We will have registration forms at the Solo Open House on Sunday for anyone who wants to sign up early and reserve their spot. We cap registration at our lapping events (at about 35 cars) so that everyone is gauranteed unlimited track time with minimal lap traffic to worry about.

To download a registration form, follow this link

Cheers,
Dave

sorry Dr. Dave, it's insuranced as a Solo 1 lapping day, so no passing is allowed. But I doubt you'll be catching up to any Hondas anyway, so no worries! :p

That sucks. I was planning to come out but if I'm just going to be held up by a bunch of Civics and ITRs than why bother.:p

I'll see you guys there in my non-Honda.

With my new suspension and better camber angles this year, I don't think your CRX can beat me if I'm driving well and track conditions are equal (unlike Event #1). I also have a few PIPs to use and the parts in the garage to use them but not enough time to install them.

If I have an off day I know my mirrors will be full of CRX but I don't plan to let that happen.:)

yeah your right. I wouldn't want to beat you up anyway. Alrighty, i'll run the Hankooks for your benifit.

Other then the no passing rule it was a well run event with no idiots on the track.

A few pics I took are here (http://members.rogers.com/maxrpm3/smp-052303.htm).

thanks for posting the pics, Sam! Glad to hear you had a good time. The no-passing rule is simply a matter of insurance. We can't afford to pay the extra $1k to allowing passing nor do we really want to encourage aggressive driving at our events and we've found that passing (even just on the straights) can lead to people following too closely. Safety is our highest priority, right after organizing a fun event for everyone.

What we do instead is encourage slower drivers to pit momentarily to allow faster cars to get past them. This has worked well at our events because we keep the registration numbers low. Not sure if this was done at Friday's event since I wasn't able to attend, but you can be sure this will be in affect at our July 5th Mosport DDT day.

Cheers,
Dave

With the amount if cars that was there it wasn't a big deal but I could see it getting a little frustrating with a lot moe cars.

Regardless I noticed everyone was respectfull of eachother and pited.

Unlike my experience with WOSCA at Waterford Hills, HADA did a great job and I look forward to the DDT event.
