The Competition Corvette Club is pleased to announce the 2003 Corvette Autoslalom Series. Our events are open to all makes of vehicles (but we especially encourage Corvettes to come out).

The dates for the 2003 Corvette Autoslalom Series are:

April 13 (although if the snow does not disappear over the next week this date may be replaced with the first rain date)
May 18
June 15
July 20
Sept 7
Sept 28
Oct 26

Rain Dates
Oct 12
Nov 2

All events are at the Bronte GO Station in Oakville near the QEW and Third Line.

Cost: $35/event
“Buck-a-Run” Fun Runs

Registration: opens approx. 9:00 am
Drivers’ Meeting: 10:00 am
First Run: approx. 10:30 am

Special Restrictions: Noise levels must be kept within reason, so we require proper muffled exhaust systems. All vehicles must also be licensed and insured. Typically, we have between 5 and 7 timed runs and an hour or more of $1.00 fun runs at the end of the day. In order to do this, entries will be limited to approximately 50.

Contact: You may contact me at solosport@sympatico.ca

Hi Eric, on what day will you make the decision if this weeks event is a go? Will you post it here or anywhere else? Thank you.

*I* most certainly hope it's a go... should be a go. Roads are currently melting and dry. Still have 3 more days of positive temperatures and sun to go.

Heck I got my tires mounted today in anticipation. Getting an alignment done tomorrow too! Don't let me down!

Hopefully Go didn't plow themselves a huge pile of snow in the middle of the lot, but since that gross dump, I don't think the city plowed anything, just a bunch of salt.

- *Anxiously awaiting Sunday*

Nnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Got an email from Eric, event is cancelled. Guess there's still a bunch of snow in the middle of it from a previous snowfall. D'oh.

Suckage.

And no, I'm not joking.

I figure Eric'll come in with the details, rain date and all that.
