4) Only people who have signed the track waiver and have a wrist band will be allowed in the paddock area. The paddock area will be separated by Yellow Caution tape.
5) All cars must be classified to compete before registration is complete. If you car requires classification please bring information about your car (i.e. your car’s curb weight, manufacturer’s listed horsepower and any modifications to your car). Classification committee members, Arek Wojciechowski, James Mewett will be available at Registration in the morning of the events to classify your cars prior to registration.
6) All cars are required to display the designated sponsor decals including the weekend sponsor
7) Morning, Lunch and End of day open run times may be adjusted according to time limitations
8) During open runs passing is allowed between corner 5 and 6 (Fabi Straight), and on the front straight, (corner 11 and 1). The car being passed must signal the following car to pass. All passes must be completed on the right side of the car being passed.
9) For the morning Open Run session a best effort will be made to provide each competitor with at least one practice session. Competitors who have been on the track once or more during the morning open run session will grid in a second line in the middle of the grid. Cars from this line will only be allowed on the track if there are no cars in the first line in the grid area along the race track wall.
10) NOTICE: To discourage competitors from cutting the curbing and dragging stones on to the track, pylons will be placed ON the stones (abutting the curbing) at the apexes. Competitors who knock over the pylons will receive a four-wheels-off penalty.
11) Maximum allowable noise level will be 95 db as requested by Shannonville for all cars except in Modified class which is 98db (Modified vehicles are not allowed on the track before 9:00am).
12) Marshall Safety: Marshals should never be sitting down. A lone marshal should always face traffic. If a station has only two marshals and both directions need to be watched, then the marshals should stand face to face so that they can be instantly alerted by the other marshal of impending danger.
13) Caution to Drivers: In the event that there is an object lying on the track obstructing the racing line (e.g pylon), please do not stop, nor get out of your car to move the object.
14) The governing regulations for this event are stated in the 2007 Ontario SoloSprint Regulations rulebook.
16) Additional supplementary regulations may be instituted based upon experiences during the weekend. Such additions or amendments will be clearly stated at the morning drivers' meetings.
