Banquet Tickets - A Reminder

Just a reminder that Pete will have banquet tickets available for the annual SoloOntario Year End Banquet to all who would like to attend available this weekend.

We encourage ALL trophy recipients to attend. There will be door prizes, food and more reasonably priced alcohol, for those interested, and you can book a room right there at the hotel, if you consume too much of the above mentioned alcohol.....

Unlike previous year, the door prizes will not be a bunch of small items, but larger hopefully more desirable prizes that won't take as long to give out, leaving more time for trash talk about next season, bench racing this season and of course for those interested, drinking!

Bring your spouse, significant other, or you hider, have some fun and partake in the festivities.

Ask at Registration on Saturday or Sunday mornings, or track Peter down during the events or during the BBQ on Saturday night. Otherwise you can download the request for tickets, fill it out and mail it, with a cheque, to the noted address on the form.

Let out number the SoloSprint attendees this year!

Can I make a suggestion that tickets are held for trophy winners until they turn them down. Several years ago I sat at a table where there was one other competitor, a solo-1 rookie, that didn't win a single trophy but brought his whole family to the banquet (the rest of our table) meanwhile several solo-2 trophy winners couldn't get tickets because they sold out so fast.

Marsh, If someone wants to go, nothing is stopping them from send a cheque in or buying tickets this weekend. If we turn people that want to come away because we are reserving tickets for trophy winners that MAY decide to come, we may have a lot of empty seats.

Traditionally less than half (more like a quarter) of all the Autoslalom trophy recipients actually show up. Most just wait until the Open House to collect their hardware.....

Lets get a big turn out of Autoslalom people this year.

The best part about this year's banquet.... You don't have to listen to me stand up and talk! Of course if you want, I could. I ALWAYS have an opinion about something that will piss people off......:)

I should be there, representing both the solo1 and solo2 crowd. I like to mix it up like that, kind of like my east coast hip hop and my west coast hip hop.

Yep, in my opinion, I am the most opinionated person I know..... I have an opinion on just about everything, some good, some bad, some just observation, some just pure ignorant bliss....! Some are well founded but most are just to contradict people who are just as opinionated as I am.

Tickets are still just $50 /ticket or $100/couple until October 21th only. At that point they go up to $60/120, so get your order in soon...

Tickets will NOT be available for sale at the door and the final cut off is October 20th for ordering tickets.
