On Saturday October 20th WOSCA will be returning to Fanshawe College for the "Race Into the Future" Autoslalom. This event is being held in support of the college's Automotive Technologies department and all proceeds (less event expenses) will be going towards charity.

There will be highschool students touring the facillities and stopping to check out the slalom throughout the day. For this reason no competitor is allowed to refuse a rid-along and I humbly request that people that don't normally have passenger seats please try and install them for the event (I will be).

Entry is limited to 40 cars (I don't we'll get more than that anyway). Only WOSCA members and Fanshawe alumni/students my pre-register by emailing the contact email in the flyer. (pre-registered people must still come to registration and fill out an entry form).

All other registration is first come first serve in the morning. Registration closes at 10:30. Any "pre-registered" competitors that haven't shown up by 10:30 will have their spots given away.

Lot is small to medium sized (a little smaller than the chunk of asphalt we had at the airport in 06), with medium quality asphalt (not quite as good as Brampton or Sarnia, but better than Picton).

Details are posted on the flyer: http://wosca.com/Event_info/Fanshawe-Slalom-2007.htm

Two day warning! I'm hoping to see some of the faster provincial guys come out to this.

40 cars for an autocorss can be easily attained. At some point you should open up pre-registration to non WOSCA members if you expect people to drive out to London without any knowledge of if there will be any space for them to even run.

Easily attained from who? We have no regular competitors that aren't members and are in London. At this point I'm only expecting 30-35 cars. We only have 10 pre-registered now. Anyone that's driving in from out of town I'll gaurantee entry.

Weather is looking good now.

It was a great day. Good free lunch, nice course, plenty of runs, and nice weather.
