SoloSprint will be holding a technical meeting at the Delta Chelsea in Markham on October 27, 2007 from 1 - 5 pm, prior to the SoloOntario Banquet. Solo 2 will be having their meeting at the same location from 9 am to 1 pm.

9am? Fantastic! Nothing like getting up even earlier than I do to go to work so I can drive to Markham for a 12 hour day.

We've been at Chelsea for awhile now, but no one is here.

There has been no "official announcement" about the workshop either in the Autoslalom Forums or on the CASC-OR Autoslalom website, just this thread.....

Well that royally sucks. Nice of Dave Taira to post that note, and NOT show up.

Luicky for us, Gary Wood is here along with some others ( 3 ). We're discussing things and solving the worlds problems.

Nice of CASC to rent the room, and supply coffee, food, etc.

Scott Ellsworth called in and asked us to take notes of conversation. I'll post on a new thread with the outcomes.

No problem Dave, we were all able to meet and there are some nice changes occuring for next year. I'm still compiling all the notes and will be submitting them to the region office.

A fantastic positive year of competition coming up for 2008. It's unfortunate you couldn't make it.

Well, I have to apologize to all of you that did show up. I have been more than a little hampered at work because of a lack of email and web access over the last 2 weeks, so I was not monitoring these forums.

I would like to thank Dave for offering up at least some input into this year's meeting, and I am pretty sure that his posts were not intended to mislead anyone.

I would like to ask that if anyone is interested in attending a meeting within the next few weeks, we could arrange it at the Region office. In the meantime before we actually do announce a meeting, please feel free to contact me to talk about additions to the agenda. I shoudl have my personal committments teken care of by then.

It sounds like the group of you that did attend got some progress accomplished.

Again, I do apologize, and accept my regrets for the huge inconveniences.
