Each student will supply his own car for the school, making direct application of the academy curriculum easier.
Don't worry about damage to your car, our record is flawless: over 1200 graduates in 10 years, we never had any serious damage to any students car.

Trac Academy boasts graduate students running up front in Quebec and Ontario Touring, GT, 1600 racing series as well as Solosprint and Autocross. Our instructors’ experience allows us to have the most progressive curriculum in Canada.

What you will learn: With a comprehensive theory and over 350 km of track time, you will acquire all the tools necessary to apply for a regional racing licence (ASN-FASQ-CASC-OR approved) or a Solosprint license. 90% of our students take the school because they want to learn the basics and get practical experience to take their driving to a higher level, both in safety and in control.

The basics we will cover:

-driving position including the hands, body and vision
-heel and toe, downshifting (the right way) rev match
-the effect of weight transfer
-threshold braking and its affect on weight transfer
-how to use your engine to its full potential
-the ideal racing lines and alternate wet lines
-car control at the limit
-full passing techniques(under brakes, acceleration, drafting, etc..)
-Physics involved in a (race) car
-mental aspect and preparation(the game)
-how to read/feel your car
-race start simulations
-flags
-security and track etiquette

Our manual is by far the most complete and professional in North America.
Our instructors form the best team ever assembled! (4-5 students per instructor assures you the right ratio for the best results)

Are TAC members allowed to get any of the early signup deals?

Also, does this course qualify us for our B license?

As far as early sign up deals are concerned, we have offered them to our sponsored clubs as an added value to their membership.
Please call me at the shop to see if your club is involved with Trac.

As far as I can tell, for the past 10 years the Trac Academy has been recognized by the ASN, just as Jim Russell or Skip Barber has been, in terms of licensing.
I do not see why CASC would not recognize the school in 2008.

Awesome school - great price! I've attended the Ste. Estache schools 3 times and always came out a better driver - moving to 'bogie is just raises the bar even higher on an already high standard school. wOoT! :D

what is TLC Premium?
do you HAVE to have a Honda/Acura to join HADA?

TLC premium is a club standard here in Quebec, probably not much value for you Chetwin.

I can't answer for HADA, but I believe there must be a Honda product in your stable.....not sure about generators!!

MCO does have a large Subaru contingent however.

Good course lots of fun too. The Solosprint Mosport school should be equally as fun.

IMHO, Calabogie is a little bit more "fun", and a little less hard on cars . Also, the ROAD to Calabogie is a blast!!! :D
