Getting sick of my incessant questions yet? Yes? I'm afraid I have another one.

My G/F now wants to come to Shannonville for the weekend with me. Warnings she will be bored and on her own the entire time dont seem to phase her, but hey, its nice she is taking an interest and can take photos for me.

Any one know if there will be food availalble at the track both days (I know I get fed on sat)? Is there somewhere dry she can go if the weather is not perfect (fingers crossed)? If she gets totally bored is there something not to far away from the track she can do i.e. movie theather, shopping etc.

Thanks again!

Not to worry. First, there are quite a few people who bring their significant other's to the track. Not a lot, but enough to hang out with.

Secondly, Shannonville has some nice bleachers that she could sit on and watch you, or read and catch some rays (hopefully we'll have nice weather). However, if it's foul, she can hang out under the bleachers and stay dry. And yes, the track has a snack bar that will be open on the weekend.

Lastly, should she get totally bored, Belleville which is 10 minutes away, has a really nice shopping mall with tons of stores, restaurants, a Chapters and yes, even a movie theater.

I think it's cool that she wants to come out. Generally my G/F comes with me to all the events (thought she won't be there for events 2/3) and helps me out to change tires, pads, etc. I love the fact that she wants to be involved. It's another thing that helps us to bind.

Don't worry Belleville also has a Winners that she probably has never been to and would not mind pillaging. :)

Excellent. Thanks. After I fill the Mini up with tools and tires, if I have any room left she can come. :p Sounds like she'll be ok.

hmmmm...maybe I'll skip the event and just sit up in the bleachers with all the G/F's :D

Thanks! It was certainly great fun to be out there. I've got two weeks to get the silly thing running a whole lot better, and I'll give it another go (work schedule willing)!

haha I remember some little guy saying that it was the "coolest" car on the track by far haha.. I think the skid pad had to have been the funniest moment of the school
