There's an announcement in the CASC Help Wanted forum that Stephen Scala is leaving CASC for greener pastures, and I just wanted to say that I have always found my dealings with him to be pleasant, cooperative and informative. :) So thanks Steve for all you've done, and good luck with Ariel Atom ... and does this get me a free test drive? ;)

Geez Sparky, I dont know what I will do without you running things there! We all know you are the real brains behind the operation! Who will get me the best car numbers? Who will renew my license when everyone knows I probably shouldnt even have one! God we will miss you!!!!!!!!!!!

Steve all the best in your new life, you added a personal touch and injected humanity to office managment, always making every effort to solve our issues with a follow up. It getting rare to find the human eliment in the type of position you filled.
You leave big racing shoes to fill.
Hope to see you around!
I am one year out of the racing CIRCUS and don`t recognize the new empolyer name, can you fill us in??

Thanks for the kind words, everybody. I'm still hoping to get out to some weekends when I can, and I'll probably be dropping in once in awhile to make sure the new desk jockey's in no mad panic.
Hoping the schedule has me available for the banquet. I'm thinking that'll be a good time...

Steve:
You made my experience of joining the racing scene in the region a pleasant one, with you more than helpful guidance I was able to successfully compete last season, the advice to take a year and do lap days and a couple of schools before doing a complete season was the best advice ever - you will be missed - hopefully I will see you at SMP if Areil is running an 08 program there - I live 5 minutes from the track so don't be a stranger.
Best regards,

Thanks John for the Ariel Web site.
Added bonus for me is finding Mark Swain is in the Marketing dept.
I raced with Mark in the mid to late 90`s and became great friends with him and his dad David and mom Margaret. I lost contact the last two years and now have his current contact info.
Man Steve this move sure is a step upppp! Have fun.
