Autocross School

Does anyone know the date, host club, or if it will happen of the casc autocross school this year? I have a friend that came to one event with me last year and now seems to be hooked.

Hi Mike,

SPDA is hosting the school this year, and the dates are: April 26th and 27th, registration will be held at the open house and will again be limited to 30 persons for the first day, and 50 for day 2.

Will day 1 be the same as day 2 or do you have to go to day 1 in order to proceed to day 2.

Powerade Centre in Brampton near the 410 and Steeles, same as last year. To get a jump start on a few other questions:

No, the fees have not been decided for 2008.

No, I don't think that we can accept pre-registration. Registration will likely happen as described for 2007. Sorry, that's mandated to us by the series director to give everyone an equal opportunity. Of course we like you and would like to guarantee you a spot, but we're not allowed to. No, there are no exceptions to this. Sorry!

MCO in Ottawa usually kick off their season with a school. Depending on how the Senators do, the school could be as late as June.

Our friends at HADA may put one together, and we may also put another one together. But the planning has not yet begun on those. There's also 2 solosprint schools which will include similar exercises + actual track time.

Yes MCO does plan on holding a school prior to our season start. When that happens will not be known until the Sens are golfing and it could even be LATE June
