I have been away from solo II for awhile and am trying to get back into it. I was reading through the regs and came across this:

"Sect. 3 item 12 The course must be a minimum of 15 feet (4.6 metres wide. Single file slalom markers be atleast 45 feet (13.8 metres) apart (including box entry or control gates). Measurements are from edge of the cone."

So what is box entry or controlled gates?

Thx J.C.

Basically the minimum distance between cones marking the right and left sides of the course or start and stop boxes. The course has to be a minimum of 15 feet wide.

Patrick Yorke has to be able to slide his car throught the cone gates sideways ;-) (Sorry Pat, I couldn't resist)

Pitty I would atleast need 16' to be able to slide my car sideways into the stop box :(

Thx Wes for clearing that up.
