If anyone is interested in going to the TLMC slalom in Bracebridge on Saturday (http://www.twinlakesmc.org) some of us will be getting together to leave from the Barrie South Wal-Mart by 8:00 am. Registration is at 8:45.

I suggest we plan to meet at 7:45, you can't miss the Wal-Mart from the highway, it's the first exit in Barrie (Molson Park / Mapleview Dr.) If you're coming from Toronto it's about 35-45 mins from the 401.

There's a Second cup and a Subway in the same lot and a Timmie's and McDonald's right down the road. Don't forget to bring a lunch, there's no food there.

Bring your FRS radios if you have 'em. (Use the date as a channel 5,24)

You guys are gonna love this venue!

Don't you mean, convoy to Picton for the regional event? (I figured I'd plug the Ontario Regional event on the SoloOntario message forum)

Some of the boys from the toronto protege club are arranging a convoy to picton. Something about leaving from sobeys somewhere in scarborough at 6:15.

All I know is they are meeting me in Port Hope at 7!

You guys call yourselves hardcore??? Isn't the regional on Sunday? I know, it's a lot of driving in 2 days.

Personally. I am lapping at Shannonville this evening, running Solo 1 on Saturday (Pro Track) and the Regional Solo 2 in Picton on Sunday.

Is that hardcore enough for you?:D

Oh and another thing....it's supposed to rain down that way, all weekend and we are camping at Shannonville.

Now we're getting a little hardcore!

But,

Are you lapping tonight, running two SOLO1 events on Saturday and Sunday, then packing up on Sunday, driving 600kms to Detroit and then racing on Monday?

I think I win the hardcore award this weekend :D

Only if you camp all weekend. If you wimp out (like I may do) and get a hotel room in Belleville than well have to think about it before giving you that hardcore award.

It's mostly about burning things at the track after dark, don't you know!

I'm bringing my tent and sleeping bag hoping it's not too bad but they are calling for 50mm of rain tonight...

Maybe i'll wimp out tonight but i'll camp Saturday night (which should only be scattered showers).

You're looking at the wrong forcast.

I searched and searched until I found a forcast that I liked.

Low 11 tonight with light rain starting in the late evening. Light rain Saturday, high 14. Sunday mostly sunny and 19.
Belleville Forcast (http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/cities/can/pages/CAON0056.htm)

Works for me

Not like you can rely on forecasts anyways. They have a hard enough time predicting yesterday's weather

No, you need to be a CASC club member to be scored in the series.

That park bench is kinda heavy BTW,I might have to remove it and save another 14 pounds.Or I could mount my spare 5 point harness to it and give out thrill rides,I bet I could scare the s**t out of pretty much anybody.
I could of used somebody sitting there on saturday to hold the ass down when running shannonville in the rain.
Hachi roku may be ok in the dry but mine sucks in the wet with kumhos and dry track spring rates.

Yeah, I learned that slicks aren't so good on a Go-Kart track in the rain either...
