Long drive (got home around 9pm), but great event. Something tells me Joe T is going to be a bit of a thorn in my side this season, but at least I still got the 100.
Thanks to St. LAC again for making us feel welcome and not treating the people they didn't know like they were lepers (we non TO guys get that alot). The two rookies I brought with me were very pleased they came.

Great event, very pleased with the way the weather turned out and with the entry.
Marsh, Joe is going to be a gigantic pain in your side this year.
SPDA is serious about taking 3 class championships this year. CSP is one of them:p
BSP is another :p but i'll tell you what....Andrew threw a scare into me today, that bug is fast:D
and in BSS we will try our best to get another one there.
Looks like it will be a fun series this year.
Tony
Wha, me a thorn in Marsh's side. Not likely. You guys in your fast sports cars are ganging up on my poor old family sedan again. LOL :p
It's all fun and games until someone takes out an eye. ;)
Proud to be part of Team SPDA. Wooohooo!
Thanks again STLAC for putting on a first class event. I'll be there for sure, at your next Picton event.

yes, very good event!
Interesting layout, and very smooth operation.
Considering the numbers - we got many runs in for the 11-3pm period.
Well worth the drive, thanks all.
Tony, it's just a bug.... don't be ... scared :D

Great job by St. Lac.!
I personally had a lot of fun and was with great company. The Clubs and Regional competitors are great people.
The results for the first event will be available probably late Tuesday or sometime Wednesday at www.soloontario.com/solo2.
With it being the first event, 80 or so competitors (I did not see a totaly number of competitors yesterday) data and times will have to be manually entered into the scoring software then html generated so the results will probably be delayed a little longer than usual.
A post will be made in this forum indicating the results are available. Patience please!

Wes, I don't believe this, first event and you're already making excuses about the results...
I've got 9 different excuses ready.....one for each event (and a couple of spares, just in case)!
The procedure for the results is as follows, the club is responsable for the event timing and scoring. After the event, the hosting club verifies the competitor run times. Those results are then forwarded to the Cheif Timer/Scorer (myself) who, depending on the format of the results, has to key in everything or import it from the clubs timing software (the easy way), if the club is using one of two different timing softwares (about half the clubs are) that the scoring software supports.
The event held yesterday requires manual input of all data, once the verified results are received from the hosting club, which I was assured would be sometime today.

That was an awesome event yesterday I kinda knew from last years experience that I would see some of third gear so I wasn't surprised. Hell it would be cool if we had more third gear courses you honda guys need to use second gear sooner or later. The guy driving the Mini was fast and it was he third event  I enjoyed the battle with him.
Oh and Wes your doing a good job :)

Nope, track dried just in time for first run and the sun came out around 1:00 for the rest of the day :)
How come you didn't show?

I checked the weather and rain was predicted for Picton in the morning with a 40% chance of more in the afternoon.
Then I realized I did not have a club membership so I couldn't get any points anyway.
Then I checked the weather for Woodstock, no rain in the morning with a 40% chance in the afternoon. So I attended the WOSCA event and picked up my club membership instead of going to Picton.

The copper corolla guy may have something to say about what happens in BSS again this year!;)
Since I have a 2 year old and 2 drivers I saw next to nothing of the event and other cometitors runs, didn't even know I'd won untill after the car was loaded and Doug in the funky mazdaspeed protege came over and told me.
Once Robb sorts his crx,Wes finishes his civic,Stephen tong gets his cooper S and so on and so on I doubt very much that any one driver/car will be repeat winners. The battle for BSS will be fierce for sure but I for sure will not crumple under the pressure.
I don't even look at the run times thru the day so I don't get to pumped about another competitors run and try to hard on my run.I allready try to hard most of the time anyway!
Anyways, good event for all you sube guys and a big congrats from me-just hope it stays dry for the rest of em.
