On the new site - http://www.wiredmotorsports.com/soloontario
I expect they'll get updated with the top 10 positioning and such for Event 2, but perhaps not until the official's are released.
Laptimes are coming, just waiting on the Speed Radar numbers to be plugged in.
Gotta say I'm liking what I see for Event #3 in regards to the classification... looks like it's working out well. Things are close.. actually perhaps close enough that the propositioning rule should maybe be shifted a bit to allow some slight overlap. But then again, it's always nice to mix things up...
Wow.. Chris in first in my class eh? That car must be SET-UP. (No offense Chris, but beating Christian AND Dave Barker...Dayum. :) Well Jud too but I imagine it's hard to guage placement of such a car... but time wise it seems to belong where it is. Man.. top 4 within 2 tenths... tiiiiight.

Hey Wes, I don't understand why you are posting when you haven't posted Solo 2 results!!
Hehehe, just like giving you a hard time, I'll shut-up now!

Great work getting the results up so fast!
I wish I had been there to see some of the interesting cars, like Del's 308, and the new RSX and VR6's.
Competition looks nice and tight, the corvettes are 1/1000 of a second apart!! Lots of close times in fact....obviously the new classification system works as we had hoped.

Not all that important, but I see everyone has been pretty precise about their car model designations, so ... FYI, I was driving a "944 S2," not a "944."
It doesn't change the class (GT3, 0 PIP) - not that it really matters - a CRX *DX* and an Integra *LX* in GT4 were faster than me ... <sigh>
Oh well. Time to learn how to drive - and downshift.
Still, the event was mucho fun  I'll come out again next year!

Thanks for the vote of confidence buddy! :p
I don't know how "SET-UP" the car really was. I had to manhandle the car to overcome a nasty push that the car picked up in the 2nd heat. Thankfully the Stang responds very well to induced oversteer. Lots of pressure tweaks and shock adjustments brought the times back down in the 3rd heat, just in time for another temp rise as the sun really starting cooking and the car picked up a push again.
BTW, having now run the soft-compound Yokos, they seem to respond very well to mild temps, but as evidenced on Sunday they overheat very quickly on a hot track. My next set will probably be the old compound since we tend to run a lot of 30+ days. I found the hard-compounds to work really well on a hot TMP.

Taylor,
The site is coming along great. Looks real good. Let me know when you're switching it over to a new home once and for all.
Talk at you soon.

Don't get me wrong - Solo1 is a great deal, and the classifications are a LOT better for me compared to a few years back when the class I was in was ruled by F-bodies now found *two* classes higher - but I just don't have that much available, ah, resources.
My priority is going back to Targa Newfoundland, so that's where the resources must go :D).
Looks like there will be lots of close competition at the next Solo1. While you folks are on the DDT, I'll be running with the Porsche Club on the big track ...
(We all know the Porsche Club is snobby enough that they won't let non-Porsches in - although Howard Dexter is running a lapping day open to all makes that Friday.)

Just a note. I received the Officials a day or two ago but they were missing the proper Event #3 information so since we already have prelim's (yey!) I elected to hold off until we have the right stuff.
