Vigilence on Announcements and Stickies

Okay, I can no longer go into the SoloSprint forum and see the new messages without having to scroll down. And that's with 1920 x 1200 resolution and 96dpi fonts!!

We need to free up some real estate.

Stickies

Can the two threads about the 2008 Regulations, and the other thread about the 2008 Schedule be combined into one?

Can the CCDB thread and "Requests for Base Car List Updates" be combined into one?

Can the 2007 sticky about the "new" charge of $10 if you lose / don't bring your logbook be unstickied now?

I'm your biggest proponent of the need for these forums, but can you please delete one of your moderators so that the header isn't so tall? It's 50% more space wasted in the header simply because you list three moderators. Or make the "Moderator" column wider.

Can we delete the header that says "Sub Forums: Solo Sprint Specific Forums"? Put "Solo Sprint" into the title of the second Sub Forum and I think that we'll figure figure out what they are.

Announcements

Okay, the "Registering for the Forums" Announcement has to go. Anything from 2006 is no longer an announcement. Can't you just send this to people by PM or Email when they sign up? People who are opposed to sharing info aren't going to change their mind just because that's there all the time. Hell, I didn't even see it there until I got ticked off about having to scroll down past it.

And at the risk of ticking someone off about this.... We have an Announcement AND a Sticky for the same thing: Toyo Sponsorship. Let's UNSTICKY the TOYO SPONSORSHIP STICKY because it has little value while the announcement is still there.

First post in the Sticky: Tells you to go read the Announcement.

Second post in the Sticky: Tells you what the Announcement said.

Addendum - the second post in the sticky came about because of a server problem. Several posts, one of which was a question about the announcement, got removed. The second post was really the answer to a question another member asked which disappeared. It made more sense then. Really. It did.
