Any idea where this car is going to be classed?
After seeing one run and riding in it on the weekend I can tell ya that its one fine piece of machinery.
BSP as a base class?or ASP perhaps.
Comments?
Thanks

I think it should be in the A family for sure-but thats not for me to say.It would suck for sure if it ended up in BSS!!I allready have enough fast subes in SS.
Honestly though there should be no reason for the sti to start off in any b family class,I mean really 300hp,4wd,active diffs etc etc.come on.
Just one guys thoughts

BSS is out of the question, he was in that in the wosca event as we really had no idea where to place him
a novice driver in this car (first event) was within 2 seconds of ftd
he has to be bsp or better, not sure on the a classes, I am not well enough informed to make that type of recommendation

I was kidding about the BSS thing, surely to god it should end up in the A family where true performace cars start in.
Its a hard thing to start a car stock in as high a class as BSP,too many variables me thinks. It should start in a stock class and the only other cars to compare to are A family cars IMO.
BSS is already clogged with all the newer performace cars-type r's,cooper s,mazdaspeed protege, svt focus, civic SIR,spec V's etc PLUS all the lightly modded cars already classed in B1-2-3.
I look forward to next years reclassing-I'd only have to contend with civics and VW rabbits basically in FSP,instead of praying to god that this sunday is dry so the RWD corolla has a shot!:D

I've already said this on the SPDA board, but let me go on record here that after watching most of that rookies runs I thought ASC seemed appropriate (the old A1). Hey it's only a year, then new classing...
