Hey Wes,

Just looking over the results from the Picton Autocross, I noticed that my friend's 1997 Subaru Legacy driven by Kerry Labiuk was classed as a C1 car. In the SoloII regulation book for this year on Page 39 it should be classed as a C2 car. It's bone stock with all season tires too. LOL

Thanks.

Question about Pax:

I've got a major headache on trying to decipher the formula behind the Pax system.

Can someone help me out please and post the formula and the description of how it's used. Better yet, if there's a link that anyone has that I can spend some time reading, that would be really helpful.

Thanks

Can you be more specific. There are at least two formulas I know of, the empty class calculation (which I think I understand), and the rookie calculation (which I don't understand).

Marsh,

Its the open PAX Calculations I'm trying to figure out.

What does this statement mean?

Class C Super Stock This small class gets full points. It beat the Family C PAX Average 34.163 divided by the PAX factor .82

How was the 34.163 calculated?

I'm using our class as an example, C, CSS, CSP from the first regionals. http://www.soloontario.com/solo2/2003/pdfs/event1.pdf

Thanks

Both spreadsheets I was sent (one from St.Lac. and one from Solo 2) both show the car as C1.

The results are still un-official so I will enquire further.

Give me a bit and I have a link that explains the pax....

OK for C from the last regional you average the paxed times of the winners of FULL classes in C.

CSP raw - 40.070 PAXed - 33.6588

C1 raw - 43.335 PAXed - 34.668

Average - 34.1634

If the fastest car in each of the unfilled classes beats that time with their paxed time, they get 100, if not then they are scored against that time.

CSS PAXed - 34.071 CSS winner gets 100

C3 PAXed - 34.782 doesn't get 100

34.163 / 34.782 = 98.22%
