LAPS Solo 1 Quebec invites all of you Solo Ontario racers to our double invitational event June 28-29 at Sanair Motorsport Complex (30 minutes East of Montreal). This is one of our only 2-day events and each day will be held on two completely different tracks.

On Saturday, the event will be held on their longer road course, which includes a 1/4 mile and its runoff area as its main straight. Bring your brakes! The format Saturday will be 2 x 18-minute lapping sessions in the AM and 3 blocks of 4 hot-laps in the afternoon. Your best 4-lap time counts as your time.

On Sunday, the event will be held on a banked oval + infield section. Because there is no safe place to pass on this track during lapping sessions, there will simply be a 10-minute warmup followed by 4 timed sessions per competitor.

LAPS is offering Solo Ontario members a chance to pay the same price as LAPS members: 80,00$ per day. There will be free camping in the oval Saturday night. There are other campgrounds and motels nearby for those who wish to arrive on the Friday night. Don't worry about the legality of your cars: if they are legal in your series, we will allow them in ours. Feel free to contact me at v_basile@hotmail.com or post here for more details or to reserve a spot (usually we have no limit on the number of participants, but we recently had over 60 at one event, which is dtarting to be too much, so we reserve the right to cap entries)

I hope you have better weather than we had at the Rallye Sanair!

Did you see the cartoon of the rally in Pole Position? First time my car has been depicted as a canoe :p

I saw it and I was jealous. I wish I were in a cartoon. Also, I was there that day doing security, but I was in no position to come over and say hello (competed in the sprint the next day in the Audi, finished 13th out of 50 despite some "mishaps").
