Yes, yes. I know: Real men do their own mechanical work. But I'm waaaay too busy at my day job, and I really want to get the Neon up-and-running again before the summer ends!

So, the only thing holding me back from putting my rebuilt engine back into the engine bay is that I haven't found the time to install my OBX Limited Slip Differential into the transmission (OBX bashers: don't worry, I have the upgraded spring washers, and I know that the side gear will need to be machined/bevelled if I wish to be able to ever remove a half-shafts after installation!). Since the tranny is already out of the car, it probably wouldn't hurt to have a quick inspection too.

Anyone know of a shop near Bolton, Ontario that has experience installing LSDs in Neon A-578 (NV-T350) 5-speed manual transmissions? Or just a good performance transmission place?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Any transmission shop should be able to install it, there's nothing special about it other than the mechanicals inside. Wouldn't be suprised if they hadn't none a couple already in other cars, civics, corolla's etc.

Lawrence transmission installed the quaiffe in my old neon. It wasn't a problem for them.
