who has experience with or knowledge of bilstein pss9's?

specifically, i'm finding it hard to get definitive info on:

1. Settings vs. standard pss >> the 9's have 9 setting compression/rebound settings. i'm trying to figure out what rate the non-adjustable pss is set at? ive heard the standard pss is the same as the pss-9 set at 1. other's have told me it's more the happy medium and a standard pss would be equal to a pss-9 set at 4 or 5.

2. dampening adjustments: it sounds as if changing the dampening at the track is pretty easy on the front. but conflicting info about the back. some say it's easy, others say you need to dig in through the trunk and takes some time.

my car is e36 '97 328i, pretty much stock.

if anyone has a contact at a parts dealer who may know as well, i'm appreciate a referral

thanks!

Have you tried Turner Motorsport(www.turnermotorsports.com)?

They are using these shocks in their coilover kits now, and should be able to answer some questions.
