Please pass this on to all the people who were able to come out and help...
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the team that came out to help with the 2008 Ted Powell Race Weekend at the (ever-evolving) Calabogie Motorsports Park. As I have already noted on one CASC-OR forum, it is the workers and volunteers who are the heroes when a great weekend of racing comes together.
I appreciate the long hours that everyone put in to pull this weekend off so smoothly, both as part of the pre-event planning and in the execution during the weekend.
Calabogie Motorsport Park really pulled out all the stops to get everything ready for the weekend. Everyone was amazed when I told them how much was done in just the 5 days between track visits. It's a great facility, and keeps getting better and better.
As a competitor, I had a wonderful time, even though my weekend ended abruptly. Everyone I interacted with was so helpful and genuinely happy; trust me, the other competitors noticed it as well. Thanks for that.
If you are so inclined, I am also very open to feedback on how to make 2009 even better. Please send any suggestions, comments, hints, tips. I can keep them anonymous if you wish, as I compile the post-event debrief.
I am so proud to be part of such a world-class team,
Thank you et merci!
