No previous motorsports experience required.
It's all about having fun, pushing the car in a safe place. You'll have a good time, and if you're ever looking for more speed feel free to hop in with anyone, or ask them to hop in with you, hardly anyone says no.

If you've never seen it before, it's run much like the autocross/soloII but on gravel.

Drivers meeting attendance is mandatory

Empty loose items from the car, make sure the battery is secure.
One car at a time on track, go as fast as you can, park the car, and then take your turn marshalling. When you're done, it's your turn to drive again.

The marshalling is easy and quick
you'll get a radio to call in how many cones a car might have hit as it goes by you. (2 sec penalty per cone) You'll also be required to reset the cones

Timing is cumulative
we add up all your runs together, think of it as a rally score.

Any questions?? please ask!

Please, can someone post up some previous competition videos. This looks pretty sweet, but not for my cars!

we've never held a rallycross at this location so videos of a rallycross here will be hard to find. The surface is mostly sand with some gravel and we'll setup chicanes infront of the rolling bumps to keep our cars on the ground. Should be a fun event. :)

I was at the site yesterday. The owner is going to grade the track before our event. The facility/course is NOT a car breaker. When they run pickup truck races there they also have a king-of-the-hill-type event and people use street cars for that.

The only real potential car breakers are the air you'd get over the yumps, and we're going to make those into chicanes with cones.

The surface is primarily sand and dirt. What you see in the pic is hard-packed sand.
