Hats off to HADA and their well run event, now you need to organize a day or two at the BIG TRACK!

great pics, Sam! Glad to hear y'all had a fun day. Wish I could have been there, but my grandparent's had their 65th wedding anniversary and my family threw a big party for them that I couldn't miss. I hate it when life gets in the way of taking my car to the track! :p

Hey thanks, I'm getting better and better with my little digital camera, I need to take a course.
65th, wow that is awsome! and way more important.
So when are you guys going to organize a laping day at the Big Track? I know it's not a Solo track but it's SO much more fun.

organizing an event at the big track would be a real challenge for us. As you likely know, the track rental fee and other associated costs (hiring marshalls, ambulance, etc) are considerable and attracting enough people to make it worth the effort and up-front costs would take a concerted effort on our part. I believe it's a fair bit easier for a group like Kensai Racing to attract enough drivers because they have a large customer base that are interested in this sort of thing. So I think that rather than competing with them, we'll continue to support Kensai (who in turn have been very supportive of HADA) by registering for their events. It was a bummer that the Kensai group got split into two on the 1st, but they believe they'll have fewer novices and fewer cars in general at their Sept and Oct big track events, so we should get full track time with any luck.

They do a school the weekend after labour day, and there is another in October.
Anyone can join, and you don't need a bimmer to run (unless you want to be fast).
