Just curious what it is. It is not listed in the Rules book or the addendum that I could find.
I did find the SRT8 Magnum in the F Stock class, but there is a big difference in the suspension (springs and shocks are significantly different) and the hp (85hp on paper)
Ran mine, for a lark and put it in FS, but can not really imagine it in with the SRT8 and M5's of the world.
Thanks for any input.

Lots of views and no replies. I guess the 4200lb station wagon is not that popular in Autocross.:D

Where did you find that quote. I just looked at the 2008 rule book and the addendum at:

Addendum:

Not mentioned anywhere in those. I must not have the special link.:D
Like I said it does not really matter, but how is a 340 hp soft suspensioned car put in the same class as the same car with 425hp and a much more sport oriented suspension. The measured G's in tests are like .05-.07 different.

http://scca.org/documents/Solo%20Rules/2008_Stock_Category_Classifications_By_Manufacturer.pdfMan that's F'ed up. They put ALL Camaros in F-Stock even if its a 150HP V8 from 1982, compared to the 340HP SS of 2002...really messed up.

That is SCCA, is CASC now the same? I thought we had our own classifications.
Interesting though.
You have to pick your weapon, it is not a terribly level playing field so you need to select the peak cars if you are really serious about it. The differences could be huge and I do not care how good a driver you are.
Thank God I do this for fun with out expectations of winning a damn thing.

CASC/ASN stock classifications are based off of SCCA stock classifications. We make a few changes, but very few.

I gave some F Bodies and a Vette a very hard time but I drove the pee out of the Magnum to do it. I would have been killer in an SRT8 I bet.:D
