Im looking for a set of 225 50 15's. Does anyone still have stock? I guess their replacement is the 214 but it doesn't have enough grooves for street use. I want to double duty tires on our "locost" 7

I dont think Tireworks is still a retailer - the distributor a few blocks up (Atlas Tire?) might have taken over their space along with most of the industrial units in the block.

Tireworks is the retail store for Atlas tire. Atlas is generally a tire supplier to shops, and Tireworks was always a store for retail customers.

when I phoned Tireworks after Toronto Tirecraft advised me they were out of 205/50R15 RA1, the phone message does not say you have reached Tireworks & leave a message, its says you have reached 'Atlas Tire Fleet & Technical Services.'
Two weeks later I went to pickup 12 tires purchased from Atlas Tire by a shop at their main distribution centre. Their shipping employee took me to the industrial block were Tireworks used to be. The Tireworks sign was no longer affixed to the wall as in the past and their was little evidence as to what firms where tenants in the block. We went about six doors down from Tireworks into another huge warehouse area packed with tires to get the order.
Pete - something has changed.
