I havent been paying attention to the PAX rules since my class has been full enough for my 3 events.

But I just took a look at the Novice ranking .pdf and realized PAXing is used regardless. I cant figure out how that score was calculated, nor can I find where the Class PAX values were for the race days (they dont seem to be in the race reports)

Can anyone help me understand?

Thanks,

Andy K.

Okay, I did find the PAX averages for the events. It also seems that the calculations are based on the Event average, rather than the per-class average? Why is this just out of curiousity?

Anyways, for my 3 events so far (2,3,5) the avgs were:

35.541 / .795(Pax factor for C2) = 44.705
29.706 / .795 = 37.366
39.610 / .795 = 49.823

So my times of:

47.572
39.056
51.864

Should be scored at: 93.9 + 95.6 + 96 = 285.5

Now, it looks like I may have forgotten to declare myself as novice at the last event, but even still the score should be 189.5, instead of 119.865?

Very confused ... :(
