Anyone know of somewhere in the west end of (Mississauga/Etobicoke) with experience in rebuilding Chevy small blocks? Specifically the LT1? My LT1 is toast and needs the works. Block is crack, head is warped. Not looking for anything fancy, getting it back to "stock+" quality would suffice.

go to Cesar at Mississauga Engines.
When i was there with my Subaru motor, we talked about LT1's as friends were putting on in a volvo...he joked, and said "come here" he showed me a corner of his shop where he had like 40 of them...and a long story ensued.

What happened????? I would think that replacing those parts would be easier, depending on condition.
I will give you an email.

I trusted the place I bought it from and was too stupid not to pull the heads when I got it home.
Live and learn.
