I find it strangly ironic that most people take RX7 motors and cram them into lighter chassis, rather than taking heavier motors and cramming them into an RX7. But hey what ever floats your boat. I assume the LS1 is an alluminum block?

When it comes to V8's, the LS1 is King.

It truly is a fine engine.

If i needed a truck, i wouldn't hesitate in buying an LS1 equipped GM statusmobile.

Ahhh the things one can do when one has a boatload of cash just laying around with nothing else to do with it.

I work my ass off to make ends meet and try and race 7-8 times a year while people take one of the sexiest car shapes/nicest all around cars period and decide to turn it into a high priced red neck mobile(you know-big eng. little car)
However,having said that-that is a cool project indeed.If only I was the guy with the boatloads of cash!!:(
